Description

The danguba is crafted from bright softwood. The head, the neck, and the body are all crafted from one block of wood, and the soundboard from another block, but of the same kind of wood. The soundboard is ornamented using the technique of intarsia. The checkerboard coat of arms (šahovnica) is carved on the front side of the danguba’s head. The artisan’s stamp is on the back - Dane Šporčić.
