Description

The flute is made of one piece of chiseled and splitted wood, decorated with burned elliptical spots and tuned to D.

Note

Unlike large flutes, this flute is more richly decorated with burned dots which make out a flower. When it comes to decorating the flute, Kuhač writes: “If the flute is good, then the maker decorates it, because, in his opinion, a worthy instrument has to be nicely decorated.” (Kuhač 1877: 8)
