Description

A metal funnel is attached to the wider part of the horn. The reed is missing. A rope is attached to the top and bottom so as to be carried on the shoulder.

Note

The huntsman’s horn is different from the watchman’s horn in that it has a tin part and tin reed, similar to trumpet. When it comes to the huntsman’s horn, the air is blown in similarly as with the trumpet, so people often said that the huntsman’s horn is trumpeted into. Kuhač writes that in Croatia the huntsman’s horn is mostly used in Zagorje.
