The Collection of Musical Instruments
The double flute sluškinja, a twin-bore labial monoxyle, crafted from one block of wood. Two airpipes are drilled through this block of wood, but only one has holes on it (6). The instrument is ornamented with a simple burnt pattern.
The instrument was purchased for the Museum during a “field trip” to Pokuplje, somewhere between Karlovac and Sisak in 1923.
