Description

The double flute, a twin-bore labial monoxyle flute, crafted from a square block of wood.. Two cylindrical pipes are drilled through the block of wood. They divert towards the ends. The holes are arranged 4:3.

Note

The pipes are closed by wooden plugs at the top, where the air is blown in. The plugs contain slits so the air current can pass and hit the walls of square holes on the upper side of the instrument. The distance between the pipes increases towards the bottom.
