The Collection of Musical Instruments

The diatonic harmonica with two rows of holes. The ornament on the front plate of the instrument is damaged in places, one button is missing, and the edges of the air chambers are worn out due to frequent usage. The instrument contains: a melody maker, basses, and a slider.

The instrument was found at a family home on the island of Silba, in northern Dalmatia. It is assumed to be an Italian diatonic harmonica which was brought on Silba in the mid-20th century.
