Description

The trumpet (trublja) is made of one piece of wood, shaped as an elongated cone, and it has a mouthpiece. It is reinforced by rims made of splinted willow cane, equally arranged in ten spots.

Note

According to Kuhač, this is a war trumpet somewhat older than the trumpet under inv. no. POH-431/1920 and was mostly used in battles. This trumpet is commonly found among all  “...south Slavs… As far as I know most are found in Hrv. Zagorje, but also in Croatian Prigorje, where it is called “trumbenta” or “trumbeta” (ibid.)
