The Collection of Musical Instruments
The fiddle is crafted from cornstalk and carved with a knife. The husk was peeled off and split. Both ends are supported by pieces of husk. The part of the instrument which imitates the bow is also crafted from husk and it has two “strings”, also made of cornstalk.
