Description

The rattle (kleparnica) has a wooden handle onto which a flat wooden piece shaped as number 8 is inserted. The upper hammer-like part was used to make noise.

The instrument (kleparnica) was used to make noise (štropotati) at the end of the afternoon mass at church on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday.
