Description

The double flute dvojnice, a monoxyle labial flute, crafted from a young beech tree and richly ornamented in carvings. The holes are drilled and burnt on the front side and arranged 4:3.

Note

The double flute dvojnice were played by the shepherds - it was a very important part of the equipment the shepherds used in grasslands far away from their homes. The instrument was always played in two voices which is why there is an extra hole on one of the pipes.
