The double whistle is made of maple and decorated with burned ornaments. One whistle has three playing holes and the other has four.
“The name double whistle says that the music made by this instrument is always to be dual which it really always is.” (Kuhač 1878:1)
The instrument was used as a shepherd’s flute.
